The car suddenly gave a dashboard alert that it was going to half power. Drove it at half power to mechanic we always use. The machine said it was the gas pedal assembly.. $700.00. Then they could not get the car to start. Had it towed to Holly Springs Auto. Not in warranty so could not afford the Dealership. He changed the 2 fuel something. Took the car to Ohio. It did the half power and then next turn on of the car it was fine. Then one day it was a total shutdown in the driveway. Local mechanic came with his code reader.. he said that the code was that the car was in a safety mode because it thinks it is being stolen Took the battery out and it started. Last night I changed cars with my son... and now it has shut down again. Going to the shop to see if they can find out why.
