Was told that there was a recall on the power steering pump. However, once they began the repairs it appears that the rack is leaking, due to the fact that the power steering pump needed replaced, but that is not covered under the recall. Which I think is a crock. If the pump was working properly the rack would NOT have leaked. I have researched this and found that many other people are complaining of the same thing.

Saw another complaint here. Just want to add my voice. I have brought car to another car shop other than the dealer, the quote is 1/3 of the dealer's. And I was told this has nothing to do with driver's driving habit. Jus the part is not reliable. I had driven other cars over 20 years, this is the first time I have heard steering wheel rack can have leaking problem, either from my own or other people's experiences. That makes me believe this is due to a faulty part and GM should be responsible for it.

Just found out that our 2011 Buick Enclave has a leaking power steering rack and a leaking timing cover while I was having the car serviced for low Freon. After some research on the internet I saw that there possibly is a class action lawsuit for the leaky power steering rack. GM has not issued any Technical Service Bulletins for either of these two problems and it looks like it will cost me approx. $ 3,000 + to get this fixed for a vehicle with 48,000 miles on it. Last year I had to replace a water pump, which was identical to the problem on the Chevy Traverse, but Buick never issued a TSB for that either. My question is, does anyone have information regarding the Class Action Lawsuit for any of the problems I listed above? I am certainly going to add my name to it, if it exists.
