This vehicle had 33,000 miles on it when it was purchased and I followed the maintenance schedule including regular oil changes. While driving the engine suddenly lost power, luckily I was able to get the vehicle into a parking lot. Car was towed to a shop where they discovered one of the camshafts had broken ruining the engine. Estimates to have a used engine installed were $5,000-$7,000, this was roughly the value of the vehicle. This vehicle has been one repair after another and if I were not able to do many of the fixes myself it would have been gone long ago. Needless to say the car was sold for scrap and I moved on.
