timing chain code timing chain code

So I went to Hickory NC to shop for a car to finance. I found Hickory auto and I test drove the Buick and on the test drive I stopped at Advance Auto and had them do a diagnostic test. She said it was 3 sensors that needed change. I was like oh, I can handle sensors. Well the day after I bought the car, I was going to look up codes that I took pictures of on my cell and couldn't make them out so I went to Autozone in Brevard where I live, and had them redo diagnostic since I couldn't make out on the Pictures I took. Autozone printed out the codes for me this time and it came up timing chain needs replaced.

So I call dealer and told him I wouldn't have bought the car if I'd known it needed timing chain the next day. I've offered to the dealership that I'd buy the parts if he supplied the labor at there cost. And it was a no. I've been reading that it could be loose or a recall you may have. I put down 2k on the car and can barely drive it because I'm scared it will break ND the motor gets messed up. I'm going to buy the timing kit when I get paid next month, I'm disabled. But I'll have the part and I'm hoping there's a recall or your assistance to help me find a reasonable mechanic.

Thanks very much. Look forward to your response.
