While making a left hand turn was hit in the left rear passenger door. The 10 side impact curtain air bags did not deploy. Was told by GM that the center post between front and back door is the only place that has a side impact sensor there from the front door to the back bumper offers no protection from a side impact other than the vehicle itself.
