CarComplaints.com Notes: Buying the first model year of any vehicle is rarely a good idea. You become a guinea pig for the automaker and they are really not nice to guinea pigs.
The 2008 Enclave has a wide enough range of problems to issue a warning. There's transmission failure under 90k miles, new power steering units costing over $1,300, and enough engine complaints to NHTSA to scare anyone away.

With thorough research of my own, I came across this lawsuit yesterday on the internet. Everyone should at least take a look at this whether you still have a current issue or not unless you have already gotten rid of your damaged vehicles. I feel this will lead us all to real restitution and a chance to be taken serious. I have been checking this page periodically and I personally feel like it is a smokescreen for us to continue venting to one another as only more years pass by while no real changes are being made.
Sincerely, another mad 08' Buick Enclave CLX owner
