- Summary
- SOFTWARE CHANGES AFTER PROGRAMMING WITH ISTA/P V3.59.2. INFORMATION Aftersales customer service representatives need to be aware of the following changes that occur to features and functions of the i01 (i3) after reprogramming and encoding by ISTA/P 3.59.2 to integration level 16-07-503. An additional option, in the detail view of the Points of Interest (POI), to display valid charging stations for charging a BMW i vehicle. This list is automatically compiled through BMW i drivers successfully charging their vehicle. This list may now be filtered to include only the 20 charging locations with the most charging outlets in the area. Without the filter, the system will still display up to 5000 charging stations in a 300km (186 m) radius. Vehicles with 5AR Traffic Jam Assistant or 5AT Driving Assistant Plus produced before 07/2014 - Traffic Jam Assistant is now operational up to 60km/h (37 mph). Its operation was previously only available up to 40 km/h (25 mph). The range display has been optimized when the navigation system is activated. Previously, when the navigation system was activated, the range would be reduced because of a difference in the algorithms used by the navigation system and the instrument cluster for range calculation. They have been optimized and the effect on the range display has been minimized.
