I was t-boned by a school bus in my 2014 BMWi3 on Sept 19,2014. I was hurt and haven't seen the car yet. BMW had the car picked up and delivered it to a collision shop, I'm still paying the note on that car because my insurance refused to cover the accident. I called BMW a second time and they now want twp see the vehicle since the collision shop is ready to put a lean on it. Because of the carbon fiber damage they feel it can't be repaired plus they noticed, and noted, that the side curtain airbags never deployed.
I'm lucky to be living, now I've got to try and put my life back together. The car is wonderful but the airbags Don't Work! I never got a recall notice, and never knew anything about a problem existing with airbags concerning the BMWi3
Currently I'm waiting to see what BMW of North America will do to assist me with this serious problem.
