The contact owns a 2011 BMW X6. While driving 40 mph, the vehicle lost forward momentum without warning. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to BMW of albany (801 E oglethorpe blvd, albany, ga 31705, (229) 883-2040) where it was diagnosed that the turbo needed to be serviced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
