2008 BMW X6
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- "Engine Idle Speed Fluctuates Intermittently, when Shifting into Gear. While stationary, the engine idle speed could fluctuate (once or a few times) after engaging either ""Drive"" or ""Reverse gear. It is possible that the engine could also stall. This situation is intermittent, difficult to reproduce, and would not cause a fault to be stored. However, it is more likely to occur right after restarting a hot engine, A/C on, steering turned, and at ambient temperatures above 70° F. CAUSE DME software error (idle speed controller set point)."
