DELIVERY STOP: NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. A Delivery Stop has been issued (effective September 28, 2018) on Model Year 2019 BMW X5 vehicles that have been produced from July 11 (SOP) - September 24, 2018. The intelligent battery sensor (IBS), which is part of the negative battery cable, may not have been produced to specfications. Therefore, the negative battery cable will be need to be replaced. Approximately 1,209 vehicles are affected by this delivery stop. Affected vehicles show the campaign as "Open" when checked either in Warranty Vehicle Inquiry, AIR or ISPA Next and identified with the description: STOP013383 B611418 Delivery Stop: Replace Battery Sensor Software error in the IBS (Intelligent Battery Sensor).
