I was at the dealership several times for this issue. There was an initial recall in 2012 to replace the idler tentioner bolt. That was done. In December of 2019 I was in with a broken belt and was stranded with my car. No power steering/ No Heat / Alternator etc. Couldn't drve because no steering. I had it towed to dealer and they had it for a week and a half waiting on a new bolt and they had to replace the alternator as well because a flange broken when they replaced it. A month later I was on my way home from work and bang. I heard a loud snap under the hood and my battery light came on and had no steering. I was in the middle of a turn and I about went over the median. I'm Glad I was driving because most people wouldn't have been strong enought to turn this vehicle with no steering. I caught be off guard. We have -40 degrees wind chill in Ohio this week and I was stuck on the side of the road with no heat, Steering, Alternator etc. I couldn't wait for a tow truck any longer so I limped it to the dealer afterhours. This is all related to NTHS campaign #18V336000. I dont understand how a bolt can break so easy. It is a very concerning safety issue. I'm glad I wasn't involved in an accident because of this.
