BMW check engine light diagnostics, air pressure too low, turbocharger waste gate shaft worn. Tjh advised warranty expired. Service charge = $125. Aug 10, 2017:mileage = 81700. BMW observation: Waste gate shaft worn. Service needed: Replace turbocharger and engine oil feed line to the turbocharger. Warranty expired. Service fee = $4,111.50 California and states that follow California emissions law, such as pa, require warranty on turbocharger to be extended to 100,000 miles.
