The contact owns a 2014 BMW X1. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the service brake warning light and the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to Pep Boys where it was diagnosed and produced code: P2402 indicating that the (EVAP) module failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
