I've had a vehicle (without a rain guard) in the past where a little water might trickle in. but nothing like the BMW X1. It has a tremendous amount of water rolling in. It's weird and annoying. If you are a smoker or have asthma like myself... and you constantly need to crack the window a bit. This vehicle might not be a good option. Try one of the other BMW models that have a rain guard already installed.
