Rod bearing failure engine seized, only 62,000 miles. Purchased the car in 2016 and since then there’s been issues with the car. I’ve had to take it back for numerous things that the dealership should have taken care of before it was delivered to me especially if this car was a certified pre owned vehicle. I also need to note that BMW Encinitas kept saying they fixed the issue with my car stalling by replacing the the spark plugs but it wasn’t running right. So I took my car to Vista BMW they found that my car need over $10,000 of work that Encinitas BMW overlooked and just was lazy about.
I followed all recommended service appointments etc. Now the engine is blown and BMW Corp tells me because my car is 11 years old they can’t help. Understand my car only has 62,000 miles and is basically new. The warranty just expired 1 month ago! Encinitas is telling me I should have gotten my oil changed every year, ALL the BMWs websites say 5000 to 10,000 miles. I have never heard of changing my oil every year.
Why am I told something different by every dealership and the service department? I am so frustrated by this corporation and the way they treat customers I want to scream. It’s shameful
They just do not care at all!!!!! I will never give my money to BMW again
