I bought a 2004 BMW 760I on 4,23,2013 with a 132530 miles from a used car dealer in reno nv, two days after buying the car I notice when I turn on the car it would idle ruff, the engine would rev it self and the car would turn off it self sometimes, while some time you turn on the car and everything works fine the biggest issues with the car is when you put your foot on the gas you never know how the car is going to respond some time it moves off to fast some times to slow, some time when you stop at a stop sign the car turn it self off, the forth day after owning the car I was driving about 15mph and the car turned off while driving, I turned the car back on drive around the parking lot till I felt it was safe to drive home which was about a mile away, on my way driving home going about 40-50mph the car turned off while going around a sight corner, I had no control of the steering wheel was locked up and could not move, the car went straight across the street and stop in some dirt am lucky there were no cars coming, I then turn it back on and drove the next quarter mile home, the next day I turn it on and drove it back to the dealer about 50 miles from my house and the car had no problem getting there, the car is at BMW right now and there telling me its a fuel pressure problem, I also did allot of research on line and found out its a very common problem with this model BMW, allot of people is bin having this same problem from the same year the car came out, I love BMW's I still got my 01 BMW X5 but the 7 series they are not a safe and reliable car, people pay allot of money for these cars and BMW need to take action for there faulty design.
