Most BMW V8 engines including my own (N62, N63) have know major flaws with valve stem seals and timing chains. These issues cause catastrophic damage to engines and emissions system. It is a major safety issue as well as environmental issue. Vehicles end up immobile on the highway or emitting excesive smoke and fumes into the atmosphere. BMW has had a class action lawsuit over this I dont believe thats enough. These vehicles need to be repaired

09 BMW 750li suddenly slowed down on the highway after a dsc malfunction/ transmition malfunction light came on. Vehicle just received the N63 recall service. This is vary dangerous. The vehicle would not accelerate at all. Vehicle was traveling around 70 miles per hour before it started shaking and slowing down in fast moving traffic.
