I was on my way to get the car detailed, I was getting on the highway so I was into boost a bit when the car felt like it hit a brick wall and went to drive train malfunction mode. It immediately slowed down and starting shaking hard, I had no throttle control and a few seconds later it throws a collision avoidance malfunction which slowed me down to 10 mph. I damn near got ass ended because I could not control the slow down. I had my child in the car at the time, what would have happened if I would have wrecked? I will be contacting the local BMW dealer in the morning about this problem. After doing a fair amount of research, I've found that there are many people having close to the same issues. Can't say I'm very pleased about my choice of cars after learning about the BMW customer care bulletin with the n63 engine.
