There was a recall on my exact model. NHTSA number 18V248000/engine & cooling. I am having the exact same issues. Water pump failure, getting service water pump and alternator repair. Shortly after I started having small evaporation leaks, cylinder misfires, and a bad head gasket. Water pump failure caused my engine to overheat. Also had problem with turbo coolant hoses, my hoses cracked like glass ejecting coolant all over the engine & alternator. I am going to try to get BMW to reimburse some of these charges.
