Recent heavy rain storm, car was outside for three days. Attempted to drive it and all warning lights lit up. had it towed to dealer. Found out the entire rear trunk was full of water. Service rep explained the problem was with clogged drain plugs. Asked if it was covered under warranty-no. Is it something I could have known about and prevented-no. Is it checked during routine service by dealer, and inspection item-no. Is it listed anywhere in the maintenance docs-no. How much to repair- $9,000. Not going to happen, let me speak with your General Manager and BMW Finance Manger. I still owe $28k.
