Bought car second hand from non franchised dealer with 6 month guarantee. First problem a failed injector not covered by garage - electronic fault. Then 3 months later engine gave a high pitched whine and after 30 miles no acceleration and finally blue/black smoke from exhaust. I stopped engine to avoid further damage. BMW disclaims all responsibility and makes no contribution to costs.
