On my morning commute on the highway (approx 70-75 mph) I heard a loud bang right on top of the car, as if a cinder block had been dropped straight from above. Shortly after I heard glass shards crumbling and then visibly saw the same immediately after. Once I parked, the sunroof had completely shattered. No evidence of fallen debris or external object was observed.

When driving on freeway, with a loud noise, the sun roof shattered into pieces. The weather out was little warm but not hot (the outside temperature will be around 90 F). I am driving the vehicle from mountain view and have been driving for almost 45 mins with my A/C on. I didnt notice any pebble or object hitting the car. I pulled to the shoulder and did a visual inspection and found absolutely nothing hit the car/wind shield/or body. The sunroof just shattered..I took the car to the dealership and they denied anything wrong with sun roof.
