I just got the car April 4, 2022. Started running rough a couple weeks before this happened. I kept seeing a light flash on that car needed to be serviced Jan 2022. We were driving the vehicle (not even going the speed limit) on the highway when the DRIVETRAIN MALFUNCTION LIGHT CAME ON. Vehicle was towed to the shop. Arguing with the car dealership where I purchased the vehicle and the warranty company. I am having to come out of pocket with the money. They are not willing to pay anything.

Regularly serviced and pampered my 2013 BMW 528 xi. Purchased it with only 17000 miles. never had much issues with the BMW. While driving on the highway Out of the blue warning the light appears "drive train malfunction light"t came on. Pulled off highway and shut car off and called tow truck. BMW only had 80000 miles. recently purchased new tires and brakes. Car never had any major issues and now I need a new engine.
