On March 24, 2022 I bought a 2008 BMW 528XI vehicle from Mercedes WESTWOOD, MA. UNFORTUNATELY, this car is not drivable because it needs a new transmission. It hasn't even been a year yet. The check engine light came on after the second day of purchase. Now I needed a new engine. Mercedes of WESTWOOD MA sold me faulty car (LEMON).

Been smelling burning plastic/or oil thru air vents. as if the pvc valve was melting per recall description on probles, it fits the description, the only thing that happened to the car recently is one of the windows regulator anti trap functions it says antitrap function window disabled, then slowly started noticing burning smell for the first 10 minutes of everyday drive, my safety and many others could be very compromised, as I live on a mobile home community, and these properties have a high risk of fire hazard, and the fumes I am smelling, also I dont wanna get caught in a vehicle fire anywhere, much less on traffic, freeway or cause an accidents because of disabled vehicle, - the list goes on. thanks For allowing me to make a complaint and bring awareness for many other owners

Oil sensor light failed, indicating full oil fill and engine locked up on highway nearly causing serious accident. Shop says engine had no oil, yet gauge says full. There are no dipsticks on this model. The gauge actually shows the amount of oil and is the only way to rely on anything.

Two engine mount bolts sheared off. Noticed during routine oil change. There are a total of eight bolts holding the engine, four on each side. Based on research, this is a problem with this series and model and appears to be a factory defect and design flaw. There is a chance the other 6 bolts could shear if not replaced with stronger bolts. A mechanic replaced the two bolts and advised we should replace the other six.
