If you are looking for a reliable, everyday commuting car DO NOT buy this one. I have only had this 01 525i for 8 months but it has given me so many trouble that I'm thinking about selling it. It runs well when taken good care of. But it just has so many little problems, not to mention the oil leak. So again if you are willing to pay for the performance then go for it, otherwise if you can't fix it yourself don't buy this car.
