Passenger brake light harness keeps melting. This is my second Bmw and both had the same problem. The car keeps having loss of power while driving on the freeway. Probably something to do with fuel pump.

The contact owns a 2014 BMW 428I. The contact stated that the doors got stuck in a lock when parked, making it impossible to exit the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer (BMW of westchester 543 tarrytown road, white plains, NY 10607 914-761-6666) and they diagnosed the issue as being a faulty door lock actuator. They replaced the actuator with a new part. The failure recurred, but the dash drive screen on the console went blank and the front bumper sensors were not functioning. The dash drive was repaired by the dealer but the front bumper sensors remain unrepaired. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The failure mileage was 18,000.

Car was stationary the car doors get stuck in locked state and will not unlock from inside. This happens when vehicle is parked after a drive or when you start up the vehicle and it is in parked position. This is a safety issue as the driver or passenger can get locked inside the car. This happens due to failed lock actuator and possible mechanical failure in the door lock mechanism. This issue is extremely widespread yet there is no recall from BMW on this issue. I've experienced this issue 3 additional times since I purchased this vehicle in April of 2018.

This is a safety issue as the driver or passenger can get locked inside the car. This happens due to failed lock actuator and possible mechanical failure in the door lock mechanism. This issue is extremely widespread yet there is no recall from BMW on this issue. Here is a link where many people have reported the same issue. BMW does not have a recall for this issue and the repair is chargeable even if the same issue affects multiple doors over a period of time. Hard top will not completely close hard top was leaking electric module went out fuel pump went out I purchased this vehicle on March 30th and it has been in the shop more than I have driven it. I was told that there was nothing wrong with it. I just had to pay $2300 in repairs to the fuel pump and electric module. I had to take the car back because the hard top is no longer functional. I currently have an existing complaint with your Agency.
