The contact owns a 2014 BMW 428I. While driving various speeds, there was an abnormal noise heard in the front of the vehicle. Also, the rubber around the windshield detached and impeded the contact's view. The contact had to pull the vehicle over to maneuver the rubber in order to see out of the windshield. In addition, the sound of water was heard in the vehicle while driving on an incline within a day of owning the vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer (steve landers Toyota, 10825 colonel glenn rd, little rock, ar 72204, (501) 568-5800). The dealer indicated that the warranty had expired and advised the contact to call the manufacturer to be referred to an authorized BMW dealer for diagnostic testing and repairs. The contact was provided with a loaner vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was not available.
