This 2006 BMW is a pleasure to drive, but I had it into the dealer for a minor fuel issue. I told the service manager to check the driver door opening and closing. It is sticky.
Remember, this car only has 13,000 miles on it.
He said there is a problem with the doors on many of these models that need adjusting and lube to make them work properly. The cost is $88 per door.
To me, if they have a known issue and obvious design flaw that a almost new car needs adjusting and lube to make it right, they should make the adjustment for free.
If I come in with a beat up car, then yes it's my problem. But a car with 13K miles! It's unbelievable for a manufacture to charge us to fix their design flaws.
