This is a recurring problem on multiple BMW models. It has been going on for years. BMW is fully aware that they are building cars with door handles that will melt, get sticky, feel toxic (One person reported feeling the goo burn his hand). BMW has done nothing to remedy this issue. When I called to complain the representative told me they would give me a credit of $75 toward fixing it so the balance would ONLY be $429.
There should be a class action suit to get BMW to fix this problem!
