I have a BMW 2011 328i and I am experiencing the same thing with the leak on the oil pan and BMW in Coconut Creek wants to charge me $2500 just to change a gasket that cost $70.00 each. I also have a burning smell every time I put on the air conditioning and, what's weird, that sometime it comes out with out the A/C. I was reading everyone's comments and it seam to be the PVS valve heater. I believe I took the car in for another problem and that recall was not available yet. It should not cost $2500 to change out a gasket, especially if this is an on-going problem. Does anyone have a good mechanic that they can recommend in Florida?
