Brought to BMW of Austin, but they forced me to change the starter, although the old one would kick in right away. Agreed to change and plan to sell the old one or install it back on and sell the new one, but they would charge me $220 for returning my old starter! And when I turned in I took a picture with an engine cover but they stole it anyway and their excuse was another mechanic stole it, not them? I guess they just reset the engine computer for the cost of starter and installing fee for almost $1300. When the engine light was back on one day later, they would not take care of it!
For the inspection purpose I could not get the BMW of Austin help, to reset the engine light! So I went to Terry Sayther, they reset it in 5 minutes and let me go without a penny charge
So, since a couple of months ago the engine light was back on and it won't start again. I am afraid if I bring it to the Dealer I will have to buy a new starter again........SUCK!
