the front end of my bmw has started shuddering when approaching 45-50mph and up... took it to an independent mechanic who said my control arms needed replacement... after new brake rotors/pads and new control arms, ( to the tune of 1,000 bux! ) the problem was just as bad...( the shudder wasn't when braking, they just needed replacement also) then the mechanic then told me to get an alignment, so i did... still no help! now he says i need a new steering rack, "that's gotta be it"... well what about tie rods or sway bars while ur at it?!!! don't know if this guys knows what he's doin or not.... any ideas? post complaint on 94 bmw 325i convertible
