Summary
SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT IS ON WITH PT-CAN FAULTS STORED . The Service engine soon light (MIL) is on and the transmission may go into failsafe. The problem may be intermittent along with any of the following check control messages displayed or stored. Transmission temperature Drivetrain fault Chassis stabilization Note: Any combination of the following faults can be stored. DME faults: CDBB04: No message (request, torque, crankshaft, transmission 2), receiver DME, transmitter EGS CDBE04: No message (display, engine speed, dynamic), receiver DME, transmitter EGS CDBF04: No message (status, transmission control unit), receiver DME, transmitter EGS CDC004: No message (diagnosis, OBD gearbox), receiver DME, transmitter EGS CDC104: No message (data, transmission train), receiver DME, transmitter EGS CDC201: No message (request, torque, crankshaft, EGS), receiver DME, transmitter EGS EGS faults: 4209A4: Temperature sensor system: Hotmode 3 - excess temperature CF1501: No message (diagnosis OBD engine), receiver EGS, transmitter DME/DDE CF1521: Message (group fault 1 - effect during driving: considerable): Receiver EGS, transmitter DME/DDE CF1531: Message (group fault 2 - effect on driving: possible): Receiver EGS, transmitter DME/DDE CF1541: Message (group fault 3 - effect on driving: none): Receiver EGS, transmitter DME/DDE CF2C21: Signal (actual engine speed, crankshaft - signals a poor quality useful signal, 0xA5) undefined, transmitter DME/DDE The EGS harness wiring from connector X13*2B becomes damaged due to abrasive movement inside the corrugated housing.
