This 2013 Allroad is my 2nd 4-cyl A4 Avant, my last car timing chain broke at 130k and required an engine re-build to fix. This motor warned me with an engine light, thankfully, so no damage, but an inconvenient and costly repair. Audi & VW are involved in a class action settlement right now for this very problem (claim deadline is 1/23/19 - www.timingchainlitigation.com), but, my VIN isn't included in the settlement, even though it's an A4-based model. I do like Audi's but, may switch up to 6-cyl models.
