CYLINDER 3 AND 4 HAD MISFIRE. VERIFIED MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 3 AND 4. RAN SCAN TOOL FOR ANY FAULTS AND HAD MISFIRE 3 AND 4 P0303 P0304. ALSO FOUND P0300RANDOM MISFIRE AND P130A FOR HIDE CYLINDER.
TOOK SPARK PLUGS OUT AND FOUND OIL ON SPARK PLUG FOR CYLINDER 3. AFTER FINDING THOSE FAULTS RAN A COMPRESSION TEST FOR EACH CYLINDER: CYL.1-175 PSI. CYL.2-180 PSI. CYL.3-65 PSI.CYL.4-180PSI.
AFTER FINDING CYLINDER 3 HAD A LOW COMPRESSION WE RAN A LEAK TEST ON THAT CYLINDER. FOUND CYLINDER 3 HAD A 95% LEAKAGE. THE BLOW BY FROM THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM THE DIPSTICK.
NEXT STEP TO TAKE WOULD BE TO DO A TEARDOWN ON THE BLOCK OR TO GET A NEW ENGINE.
