Airbag light on dash appeared. Car was not in an accident. Airbag is now non-functional and a safety hazard.

Due to defective seat belt equipment and air bag non-deployment the consumer and her daughter wasn't restrained upon impact. Both driver and passenger sustained injuries. Insurance company diagnosed vehicle as a total lost.
