Front seat belts on 2008 Audi S-6 model (only) are "reversed", that is, twisted when fastened. No other Audi models have this configuration for front seat belts. I am afraid that in case of an accident, when the explosive charge that goes off to tension the belt, the twist will cause it to jam, resulting in greater bodily injury in conjunction with the airbag. This was reported to Audi, but after 6 months of "investigation, they didn't see the need to fix anything, because it would force them to sacrifice additional vehicles for required testing. They also refused to install the correctly aligned seatbelts from the A-6, the much more common non-sport version. I am very concerned for the safety of myself and my family/friends. An incorrectly mounted seatbelt is a significant danger to the vehicle's occupants. Audi's excuses make no sense, since I consulted an engineer friend who also expressed concern. All Audi S-6 models should be recalled for this most simple of repairs.
