- Summary
- Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 46 number 12-17 dated January 18, 2012. The customer may complain of hearing a high-pitched squeal or squeak from the brake system when brakes are used with light to moderate effort. The concern may occur more frequently with colder weather. The vehicle production date is on or after Sep 3, 2012 (Calendar Week 36/2012). Changes to certain brake components were implemented in S4, S5, and S5 Cabriolet models produced as of Sep 3, 2012. To closely monitor complaints of noise on these vehicles, we are asking that you contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before replacing any parts on vehicles produced after this date.
