1st I lost the gear selector sensor which involved me getting stranded 3x with a car that would not drive. The transmission was pulled, dissembled at Audi and then reassembled with all new internals and a gear selector sensor. To the tune of about $2600.00, $1500 in labor and over $1000 in parts.
Then a few weeks later my mech unit went and had to have that replaced for about $3200 dollars.
Just experienced the dreaded combination TPMS+No Reverse error.
Drove a few miles to a friends house the other day, parked, all good. Went to come home and when I put car in D the error immediately occured. Transmission now in limp mode, and no reverse. In reading the forums it seems like this is a huge issue with the mechatronic DSG transmissions, especially with 2010 S4's.
Car is now unusable and sitting in my garage. Not sure what to do, I'll probably get a repair quote next week but I don't want to spend thousands $$ on a 10 year old car.

This just sucked and made me lose faith in Audi.
