Bought this S3 less than two months ago. Been to the dealership w/ complaints of rough downshift...from 3rd to 2nd, and from 2nd to 1st. Feels as though car lurches forward when braking. Even other passengers have noticed. On hot days, car does not shift from 3rd to 4th...or 5th to 6th. Around town, car is "taching" away at 4K-5K RPMs in 3rd gear, even under light pressure. All Drive Select Modes settings on comfort. Car only has 500 miles on it. Dealership kept the car overnight and initially told me it was normal DSG transmission shifting, but later said it's a known problem when ambient temps > 100. I live in the desert, so this is a big issue! Dealer advised Audi is aware of the problem and working on a solution. Seems a bit strange though on my service receipt it says DSG operating within normal limits. ????
