my rs7 was purchased in California as a lease by the original owner. When he turned it back in to the dealer it had 29,700 miles on the odom. i live in Va. and purchased the car on the east coast. It had slightly over 29,769 on the odom. I have owned the car for 3 years, it came with the extended service agreement which had 2 services left the 35 and 45 thousand mile service which i had to use before the contract expired. The car has 35,879 miles today which means i have only put about 2,000 miles a year on the car.ICHANGED THE OILas soon asigot the car ,and at each of the services.I am 80 years old and do not abuse the car.I had heard about the oil screen problem on the turbos, but never thought it would happen to me. One day while driving I stopped at a light and the car started to make a knocking noise and started to surge and shake. This happened every time I came to a stop.In a few days the check engine light came on, so I had it towed to the Audi dealership. They had it a week and told me the turbos needed to be replaced. They quoted me a price of $30,000 dollars. which I thought was a joke, but it wasn't that was their quote. I had the car picked up and towed to NGP New German Performance, where they replaced the turbos, put in new plugs, changed all the fluids, and did new rear brakes for $7,200.I hope the class action against Audi for the turbo failures goes in favor of those of us who have gone through this! I will be calling the Audi complaint dept. about the $30,000 quote from the dealership!
