I am writing to express my serious concerns and seek immediate assistance regarding a recent incident with my 2021 Audi Q8, which I believe highlights a significant safety issue.
As you are aware, my vehicle experienced an electrical malfunction due to an undiagnosed issue with the alternator. Upon further investigation, I discovered that this problem is not unique to my vehicle but is, in fact, a common issue among this model. It has come to my attention that there is a potential class action lawsuit related to this matter. This is particularly alarming given that the Audi Q8 is marketed as a premium luxury vehicle, where such engineering flaws are both unexpected and unacceptable.
My primary concern is the safety risk this issue poses. I experienced a frightening incident yesterday when my car began to fail while I was stopped at an intersection. It completely shut off as I crossed the intersection, and I was fortunate enough to coast to the roadside safely. This experience was not only terrifying but also posed a significant danger, especially considering I was traveling with my daughter and was on my way to pick up another child. The potential for a catastrophic outcome had this occurred at a higher speed is deeply concerning.
