first set of tires lasted 12k miles
I was told that Audis are just made to tighter tolerances to hold the road and that because the vehicle is AWD we should expect to wear a set of tires every 12k miles. This was stated to me by the service guy at Audi which floored me after recently purchasing your $65k car. I must say the amount of money we have expensed since November 2013 in the maintenance of the vehicle as well as the current litigation we are highly unlikely that we will purchase another VW/ Audi product in the future.
