There already are class action lawsuits re. this leaking roof issue on other models. My car's electronic system shorted out about 2 minutes before I got on the freeway. I'm actually very lucky. Cars have stopped on the freeway due to this. My car was looked at by Audi and it was determined the issue was water getting into the electrics from the sunroof. We've had hard rains recently. I was told my warranty wouldn't cover it because it's not an Audi sales part. What?! It's an Audi roof and seal!
I had to sign off on a $500 3 hour diagnostic because I obviously need to figure out what's wrong with my car and get it fixed. I have a very expensive extended warranty as well. My over $60,000 car has less than 30,000 miles on it and my life was put in danger because of their negligence. This issue has been brought up many times by Audi itself, and I just sent my dealership the many lawsuits regarding it. I feel absolutely unsafe in the car now, even if it does get fixed.
The fact that they're not honoring their warranty for their problem is reprehensible. They need a recall for this issue and they can see me in court if they don't fix this under their warranty.
