This is a recurring issue - it happens at least once per month. I'll always lock the car when parking it in my driveway. Then I come out hours later or the next morning, and the hatch is WIDE OPEN! I complained about this to the dealer and they said it was triggered by my key fob (unintentionally) - which may be the case. However, the issue happens when I'm inside the house (well over 100 feet away), but the key fob is designed so that it won't "CLOSE" the hatch unless I'm within 15 feet of the car.
So I've had people rummage through the car - because it's not only unlocked, it's literally WIDE OPEN! There is never a police report taken - because the car is WIDE OPEN!
