The contact owns a 2014 Audi Q5. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with an auto start/ stop function. While driving from a complete stop the vehicle rolled backwards when the accelerator pedal was engaged. The auto/stop failed to operate properly. The contact restarted the vehicle and resumed in operation. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. In addition, the windshield washer fluid sensor was faulty. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.
