- Summary
- Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 13-54 dated October 10, 2013. Audi of America (in conjunction with AUDI AG) is conducting a pilot program in the USA with a limited number of specially-built vehicles. These vehicles have a persistent internet connection and are designed to be accessed and started without the need for a traditional remote key. Instead, these vehicles use NFC (Near-field connectivity), or an iPhone with the Audi on Demand app, utilizing Bluetooth connectivity. The customer must leave the NFC card with the vehicle in order for the vehicle to be accessed and started.
