2012 Audi Q5
TSB Document:
Affected Component: SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:SEAT HEATER/COOLER
- Summary
- Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 74 number 13-11 dated September 13, 2013. The customer may complain that the seat heating temperature is too low or that it takes too long to heat up. From model year 2012, an additional row of fastening features were added to improve the fit of the leather seat covers on the basic and sports seats. As a consequence of this change, the temperature sensor within the seat was moved to a location that is more sensitive to heat. As a result, the control limit is reached too early and the heat is reduced before the seating surface reaches the correct temperature.
