Driving on the interstate when the EPC and check engine lights came on. Vehicle started loosing power and shaking. I was able to get off an exit ramp and drive about 1 mile to a parking lot. Vehicle towed to Audi dealership service department. I received a voice mail message from service saying, "There is a huge crack and chunk out of the engine that is why the car is acting the way it is. They are working on the estimate and as soon as I have it, I'll reach out to you".
After researching online, this appears to be contributed to excessive oil usage. I have had to add a quart of oil between oil changes but no major issues. There have been lawsuits settled in other states related to the Audi Q5. From what I can gather, this is a known issue with Volkswagen and Audi. Does anyone have suggestions for recourse? Thanks!
